It depends on what you want to do. If you don't necessarily have a passion, but you just want a decent paycheck(I.E. 30% of the people in school), then looking to alternative options would be better(getting certs; taking up code, teaching English overseas, learning a trade, real estate, car seller, etc). Some fields obviously require a degree(doctor; lawyer, banker), while some don't(entrepreneur; arts aside from fashion).
