I know some dudes who played on those Arkansas teams with Matt and the stories they used to tell had him sounding like a straight up Krptonian...
Said he was a strong as the strongest person on the team and as fast as the fastest person on the team. Said he could beat all but the top track athletes at Arkansas in the 40, 60, and 100
Said he never really worked out in the summer then would just show up and first week of practice be tops in damn near everything...most weight, most reps, highest vertical...
Said he had a rock band and they use to play on fridays when they had home games and he would just get smashed...then wake up go to the game throw for 250 run for a 100 and then not even break a sweat
These dudes were high end athletes and they all said he was hands down the best athlete they had ever seen...said if he took football even remotely serious he would have been an all time player...
