the example is myself
i went through an accelerated accounting program at a top tier university, and i just finished. i wanted to jump into public accounting, but it's look like it's not going to happened because of mygrades.
And here they are
i can explain my bad grades in the winter, i had sciatica and i was working two jobs because my parents left me in a bad financial situation two years ago. i accumulated debt that i needed to pay off. nobody is even going to bat an eye at my resume because of my GPA.
I got the A- because was republican volunteer.
Point is nobody is going to even look at my resume because i sub 3.7gpa. I spent 16000 on the program and im not going to get anything out of it. Dozens. Of my classmates already got on with the big 4.
i spent all that money and time i got nothing out of it. Thats okay. I have a job and financially okay, but what if i was an undergrad? I would be lost and depressed right now. i should have dropped out after the winter session. i have had a brutal exam every saturday for the last 9 months. Im glad its over. I feel sorry for the kids that listen to people like twism13, who say college is this cure-all for ignorance and unemployment. i didn't make the cut, and im sure 100s of undergrads dont either. Starbucks jobs for them, piles of debt and a bitter heart.
