Look at their shooting splits and advanced stats as #1 option guards in the playoffs, and shyt ain't prtetty, outside of an outlier run. Otherwise, in the ballpark of how Morant is performing. Even Stephen Curry's splits and advanced #s in the playoffs aren't that great, outside of 2017.

More often than not it's gonna be tough for a small guard to be as dominant/efficient as a #1 when that playoff defense locks in on him. With Morant, i'd say the concern is more so questionable decision making late game with how he be trying to leap frog over muthafukkas.

And overall, MEM doesn't have the best shot distribution between Ja, Bane, and Jackson Jr.. which has been ongoing all season.

Nah. Ja’s jumper has improved by a large amount since his first year in the league. Still inconsistent, but I don’t see his improvement just stopping. Dudes a dummy but come on y’all
People have short memories. The transition midrange jumper was literally Westbrook's no 1 signature move in his prime

There isn't a single thing Ja does better then prime Westbrook and this is coming from someone who doesn't fukk with westbrook
