I don't know if I can take Vince in a serious role. I'm too used to his comedy now. Wedding Crashers is still goat. :banderas:

I think Vince Vaughn can reboot his career if they write this well for him. I've never cared for Colin Farrell. Just don't get it.

Without knowing the story it is hard to pick an alternate, but it is kind of fun to think of good actors who need a career reboot.

This is sort of off the road, but I've always thought William Petersen (Grissom in CSI) should have had a more interesting career. If anyone has watched To Live and Die in LA and Manhunter he had a certain something. He's getting older though.

Anyway Farrell is about 38...so other actors from 35-40 that could use a reboot....or be launched into being more widely known.....like....I don't know.....Sam Rockwell or Donal Logue. But it looks like they are going for "names" that need a reboot....or want to prove they need a lot better roles than they get now. I'm not saying he is good enough, but a guy kind of like that now is Ryan Reynolds...he is sort of in the Matthew Mc spot.....I don't know if he can play anything but Ryan Reynolds though. I'll tell you this, I'd shave his head, grow some scruff...dirty him up a little and give it a whirl before getting Colin Farrell. I'd rather swing for the fences and miss than hit a single on this project. Who else is the the Matthew MC comrom slot? I can't think....

I think Vince Vaughn is going to be pretty good.

In the sky
Collin Farrell is absolutely horrid. And Vince Vaughn is kinda one dimensional. Not expecting anything good from this.

Farrell is gonna kill it

more rumors

The search for that female lead continues. According to sources, eight actresses were invited to read for creator Nic Pizzolatto on Thursday: Rosario Dawson, Kelly Reilly, Jessica Biel, Malin Akerman, Abigail Spencer, Oona Chaplin, Jaimie Alexander and Brit Marling. I hear all but Reilly, who was in New York, made it (though some might have been eyed for another female role on the show). Rachel McAdams also continues to be mentioned, though she appears to have a scheduling conflict with a movie, with Keira Knightley‘s name also entering the mix.
