and derrick Rose has been injured for the past couple of seasons. And NY had no cap space. :heh: Its in his job description to troll you.

but derrick rose didn't want Carmelo or at least didn't welcome him and Melo tossed his chance to play with other star players last offseason

how does that not qualify as being reluctant to play with better/ star players?

And it shouldn't be. That should be the GMs job to put the talent together. If he can't do that then what the fukk does he have a job for? Dan Patrick asked Sabo some shyt like this last week and he pretty much said what I just said.

Colin's point was that Lebron goes the extra step to help out his GM. He works with the GM to put together the best team possible. He and Wade were the one's who put together the 2010 Heat. Not Riley. They told Riley their plan and Riley took the necessary steps to make it possible.

Lebron talked to Gilbert and Griffin about coming home, but he wanted Love on the team too. Griffin put together a trade to make it happen. Love would not have agreed to be moved to Cleveland if Lebron hadn't reached out to him prior to the trade.

Perkins would never agree to come to Cleveland if Lebron didn't reach out to him. The general managers can only do so much but with their star player's help, they can do much more.

Colin full of shyt. This the same white bread that said Lebron wouldn't do shyt coming into the league because he was from a broken home and from the ghetto.

fukk that dude he doesnt no shyt. Tired of these none athletic white boys who ain't never did shyt, but on their ass all day and give dumb as ignorant statements then back track and make shyt up the next day or week.

That's not true
http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports....if-he-came-to-chicago-the-game-would-be-easy/

But that doesn’t mean Rose didn’t want Carmelo Anthony to come to Chicago.

In Las Vegas with Team USA, Rose talked about his message to Anthony when the two spoke.

“That if he was to come, that the game would be easy,’’ Rose said. “I don’t know how easy but of course it would be easy. And that we wanted him. Just plain and simple, we wanted him to come. He decided to go somewhere else. But it’s no hard feelings. I can’t get mad at the decision he made. He’s a grown man.’’

During a meeting at a Chicago lounge, Anthony also said to his agent and Frazier: “D-Rose is tough. He even hit me [up]. I’ve been talking to him. Him and [Joakim] Noah. Noah’s more outgoing. But I’m glad we did them first.’’

Says 'Melo is irrelvant, but writes about it. :mjlol: Why are people so obsessed with such an “irrelevant” player? Why do people love to hate him so much? :mjlol: It's weird.

It depends. I doubt he means Melo is irrelevant in general.

and he is a "great player" with a shyt/ dissapointing career

Nope. 'Melo's been carrying scrubs to the playoffs his entire career until Dolan decided to tank for the rebuild last season and this one. And even if this were not the case, it doesn't matter what context he had in mind when he called 'Melo irrelevant. He still wrote about what he called an “irrelevant” player. That is an admission that 'Melo is extremely relevant, even to him. :mjlol: That's obsession. There's players he didn't mention — probably because he considers them irrelevant. Go figure. Colin is just trying to protect Lj from the criticism that he keeps jumping around to super-teams. Something Jordan said he would never do. Jordan said he wanted to beat Magic and Bird, not join them. :yeshrug:

he's hardly had any playoff success throughout his career, he still has less than 10 all-star appearances

he has the worst playoff Winning Percentage In NBA History

That's the sign of a weak front office. You don't let players pitch deals and decide who's on the roster. That's why you pay a GM alot of money. It's cool to pitch players during free agency but LeBron is holding the front office hostage with his 1 year deal.
