Don't have any real thoughts about it. I'm more interested to hear about what their definitions of what womanhood is.

When I hear a transgender person assert him/herself as being a woman (versus being female specifically), it makes me think s/he defines the two differently. Being female is not something one would ever be able to accomplish in a healthy or authentic way, even thought the help of science.

However, perhaps they think being a "woman" is something they actually can accomplish. Even still, I have no idea what they think that means.

They're not "stealing" shyt from me. Kind of question is that? I don't feel nothing..and def don't feel threatened. They're not real women regardless. Why should I feel any type of way? I was born beautiful and maintain my femininity.. they just look the part and need to buy the parts, or surgically alter the parts to even measure up. Regardless of what is considered the norm these days- they're still men. Any man that fux with them is gay.. I keep it real simple. Not the type of man I would want anyway. All this gender identification, misinterpresentation, reassignment, bi sexuality, blah blah blah.. that's not part of my culture and not my thing. Let them do them and I'm doing me. But what they're not going to do is dictate how I should think or impose on me what is considered normal to them. That's all I have to say about it.

It’s so refreshing to know that there are other women who haven’t compromised their morals. I’m not homophobic but I don’t support that and I don’t have gay male friends. I’m with you, no matter what surgery you have, you still a man.

They’ll never be women. I hate how a lot of them, regardless of race, try to force black women to accept them as our own. They know not to do that with other communities because it won’t happen.

It’s a movement that repulses me. I can do see media using black transgenders to do a triple whammy just to avoid casting bw and claim they are being inconclusive. I have seen an uptick of black female transgenders being given a platform instead of an actual bw. It boggles my mind that some of my peers can be so vocal about colorism(a real problem) but can’t see how troublesome this is.

It's 99% outward physical appearance.

I have yet to see someone transition wwithout those 3 things.

It's also part of the reasons why there is such animosity between drag queens and transsexuals. Drag queens see the transsexual idea of womanhood as nothing different than the characters they dress up as on the weekends for fun.

I feel bad for them due to their medical problem, same as would for anyone born with a birth defect or mental illness.

It’s pretty simple to me but I was socialized around trans before anyone really knew what that was. They’re men who were born male and underwent whatever to become female. They don’t have a lived experience of being socially female from puberty (nvm the biological awkwardness) so thats why im uncomf with someone like Cait winning a woman of the year award. It was faddish as hell. It has nothing to do with morality for me- your freedom ends where my nose begins!
