This is definitely Dame Dash and Jay Z.

I remember reading how Dame, Irv Gotti, J Prince, and Suge Knight once tried to come together to start a music distribution for black artists. And it was said that Jay Z went and told TPTB about it. Next thing you know, Dame loses Rocafella, Irv Gotti and his brother got indicted, and Suge loses Death Row Records. J Prince barely got outta that unscathed.

Kerry had a close relationship with Harvey and his wife... she experienced a lot of traumatic stress during her time filming that movie. Quentin has a reputation for how he treats his female actors. After all of that she went back to black.
