Idk the dynamics of starters/bench

But I think like this

starters
PG: Isiah Thomas (scorer/distributor/defender)
SG: Kobe Bryant (elite scorer/great defender)
SF: Chris Mullin (scorer/sharp shooter)
PF: Elvin Hayes (scorer/rebounder)
C: Dikembe Mutombo (elite defender/great rebounder)

bench
PG: Nate Archibald (scorer/great assister)
SG: Sidney Moncrief (elite defender/scorer)
SF: Julius Erving (great scorer/well rounded)
PF: Chris Bosh (good shooter/good scorer/good rebounder)
C: Walt Bellamy (elite rebounder/good scorer)

I need maybe another elite defender and one long range :bustback::bustback::bustback:

the only concern is lack of outside shooting in the starting 5 but you're right

if I stock up on shooters from the bench it'll be stacked enough

Zeke Kobe and J that's like 3 consensus top 20 players right there, only reason J fell that far was cuz of the whole advanced stats thing. On paper those 3 would garner a shyt ton of votes

1984-1985 Mark Eaton

5.6 blocks and 11.8 rebounds per game in 34 minutes. Solid 7'4" center and perfect rim protector for my bench unit.

2 time DPOY in the vaunted 80's. Dude held Kareem to an average of 17 points.

Houston's Hakeem Olajuwon called Eaton the player he hated to face most.”

“The 7-4 center was once termed by Houston's Hakeem Olajuwon as the toughest player he had to play against.”

“Hakeem Olajuwon called Eaton the toughest defender he's had to deal with.”

I remember this guy's NBA Hoops card like it was yesterday.

Starting 5:
PG: 2015-2016 Kyrie Irving
SG: 2004-2005 Manu Ginobli
SF: 2015-2016 Kawhi Leonard
PF: 2010-2011 Dirk Nowitzki
C : 1999-2000 Shaquille O'Neal

Bench:
2010-2011 Derrick Rose
2015-2016 Klay Thompson
2007-2008 Ron Artest
2004-2005 Rasheed Wallace
1984-1985 Mark Eaton

@C.Holla-damus you're up breh.

@TrebleMan I scouted this dude extensively earlier but it seems his stats don't tell the whole story

not really a great defender just a stationary large object

no athleticism or speed

but those block numbers are scary

Same, but dude is strong as shyt and had a crazy standing reach + wingspan with great timing (reason for all the blocks).

I mean x2 DPOY isn't really a slouch and other centers from the era give him major respect.

Dude was making Jordan think twice about attacking (triple double with 10 blocks):

But like I said, this was probably my weakest pick so far, but fits the dynamic of my team. Rasheed and Eaton make a real solid defensive front court, can still post with Rasheed and draw doubles to kick out to Klay, Rose and Artest. Perimeter defense with those three is solid too.
