Said fukk it, and caught a matinee of "A Working Man". Easily going to be in the running for the dumbest movie I watch all year, but it was a fun watch, at least. :mjlol:

Definitely not as good as the original. The musical component would have worked more, if the songs were catchier and they did something really dynamic with the musical/dance sequences. Cast is okay, but hard to top what came before.

While I enjoyed the mystery aspect, the dialogue, the eccentric characters, the snappy editing; the choice to make each episode close to an hour long I didn't enjoy. Now if it was 10-12 episodes for 30 minutes I would've liked it a bit more. Nothing could save episode 8 though, that was a drag.

Despite the really good acting in the Shining, it's a boring movie and i prefer Doctor Sleep

this was more educational than anything. They push it with surround sound and HD cameras. i would only recommend if you into the genre, 6/10

Watched it last night on Hulu. Heard about it on a podcast mentioning Rebecca Hall's performance, which is very good in the film. She delivers a killer monologue and has some great Tom Cruise esque running. Not exactly what I expected, as it's most a psychological drama dealing with resurfaced trauma.

Glad I finally got to check this out on Prime Video, even though it wasn't as good as the 1st one. From an action standpoint, it can sometimes be hard to follow when they turn up the anime level with the speed, along with it occurring at night. Although there are some very cool moments, with characters with immense but terrifying power. Not sure whey they added the South African guy, for mostly comic relief.

New Apple TV show The Studio. I liked it more than I expected to. They have only shown the first 3 episodes of 10 overall I believe. I am not a Seth Rogan fan but he is channeling a kind of dirty Woody Allen here as the new head of a Hollywood studio. The guy who plays his second in command from The Mindy Kaling Show kills it though.
