This was FANTASTIC :banderas:

Now I know where Dead Rising got it's style from. Caught a sample too

The whole score is a treasure trove though :wow:

:whoo::ohlawd::banderas:

Not quite the Bond I'm used to but I'd be lying if I said this wasn't a hell of a movie. :wow:

.....naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

They could've saved playing the Bond theme at the end because other than a few callbacks, this might as well have come from a different franchise. I'm not feeling a super serious Bond movie and Licence To Kill did the rouge 007 act far better.

British goverment literally working with terrorists over a patch of land with oil (that didn't even have oil in it)? :gucci:

Bond more concerned with killing suspects than gathering information :snoop:

M being called "mom" now? :patrice: (And I think they called her that in Casino Royale but it's far more prevalent here)

I'm good on this :hubie:

This might even be better than Casino Royale. That said, the Bond girl got done so dirty :picard:

But yo,

Black Moneypenny :shaq:

Moneypenny actually being a decent field operative :brilliantshawty:

Javier Bardem as Anton "Sugar" :dame:

The meta-commentary on whether society has moved past secret agents/007 :leon:

Bringing back the classic Aston Martin one last time :banderas:

M :mjcry:

This was a great one.

Not bad, not bad at all. Not touching CR or Skyfall but this is the closest to classic Bond for this era :ehh:

Casino Royale is the GOAT Bond movie. Craig is the GOAT Bond as well. It's also the GOAT book, and beyond adding the big action set pieces, it follows the book pretty closely.

QoS is pretty much trash, although you can't be too hard on it considering it got fukked by the writer's strike and was mostly made up on set by Craig and the director and then destroyed in editing. The idea of doing a direct follow up was pretty radical for the series and could have been a great revenge movie, like the opening to Diamonds Are Forever stretched out to full length, but it then got wrapped up in a weird plot and bad editing.

Skyfall might also be the GOAT, even if it makes little sense if you think about any of it too much, it's a delightful movie that has everything you could possibly want in a tentpole movie. The singular issue with it is that it should have been the last Craig movie, or at least came 2 movies later than it did. From a timeline perspective it feels like it comes way too early into Craig's run as Bond and feels like a finale instead of middle of a series movie. It's great, though.

Spectre is also great, I think I like it a lot more than most people seemed to. It's straight up a Connery movie with Daniel Craig, I don't know how anyone can hate on that. The classic formula is rebuilt after Casino Royale and QoS tore it apart and Skyfall started to put it back together. The Blofeld brother thing was kind of corny, but I had no issues with it at all as even the most serious of movies and books have a lot of silly shyt in them.

Can't wait for 25, looking like it's going to be an updated version of OHMSS but with a good actor :blessed:

Edit-

Zombi 2 is a 1979 Italian zombie film directed by Lucio Fulci. It was adapted from an original screenplay by Dardano Sacchetti to serve as a sequel to George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead (1978), which was released in Italy with the title Zombi. It stars Tisa Farrow, Ian McCulloch, and Richard Johnson, and features a score by frequent Fulci collaborator Fabio Frizzi. Frizzi's score has been released independently of the film, and he has performed it live on tour.
