crazy film :wow: very good suspense/thriller & had me on the edge of my seat & fooled e a couple of times with some possible twists :ehh:

the ending had me :ohhh: because I really thought Lee wasn't going to do that & would've been disappointed because I put together what Glenn did a whole hour ago:russ:

also bonus for naked dancing to Miles Davis :obama:

You say that but what exactly did he do though? :sas1:

He's the plastic surgeon and coach in a way "helping" them come up with their new life, but I can't lie, the red herring got me :lolbron: He was playing with Jongsu's mind and feelings tho :usure: and it got him shish kabob'd and flame grilled :picard:

Upon further review i still think he was just helping these women...

see thinking about it now, I don't think he was really helping her or the other girls. We see a couple of times Haemi breakdown & to me I think that more than a face lift and a new life story, she needs mental help & therapy. She's clearly damaged from childhood traumas, and the surgery and lies ain't helping.

I'll say man there is so much symbolism going on in this film, can't wait to cop it on blu ray :ohlawd:

I might be on some simple shyt, but I feel like...

if Lee would have kept it funky with Hae-Mi and told him how he felt shyt wouldnt have went down like that. But this is just my theory of the shyt.

Well remember that when the movie starts that Haemi has already had surgery, so the doc was already "helping" her. I doubt Jongsu could say anything (if he was even capable because he was damn near retarded) that would reverse things for Haemi. I do agree he should have just told her how he felt but what if she & Ben wanted that :ohhh:

Man...I thinking we're overthinking shyt tho :russ: Doc could really have just killed them girls while the film makes it's deeper points about Korean classism

Rouge 007 was an entertaining watch :leon:

Gladys Knight and Patti Labelle on the intro and outro (especially great because the last Bond theme I liked was For Your Eyes Only) :ohlawd:

Both Shang Tsung and Kitana starring in this before Mortal Kombat :russ:

Young Benicio del Toro looking like hispanic Brad Pitt :mjlol:

Good movie...but I'm done for a while before I watch Goldeneye-on

Enjoyable, gritty, colourful but overall an ok movie. Spike does a lot in this one, usually his message toward social commentary is clear, this one is muddled a bit, he tries to make everything tie together and it feels rushed. I know this was Mekhi's first big role but woof at some of his scenes. :chrissy:

Through some research, I found out Scorsese was originally supposed to direct but gave it to Spike while he did Casino.
