The illusionist, came out the same year. I really enjoyed the prestige there's a solid case that's Nolan's best, I couldn't get through the illusionist though.

No real good dramas in theathers right now. Honestly, this years Academy front runners are pretty underwhelming from what I've heard.

I really do think TV has done a number on Hollywood.

This movie got SO much better once the cuts stopped being so erratic for the first 1/3rd or so. Seriously, was Scorcese on coke to approve that? Godamn

Howard the duck gotta be one of the worst movies ever made.

Just finished "Den of Thieves".

Decent film but too long. Plot is a bit muddled and I'm not sure if it's an action movie or a crime movie that happens to have action scenes.

The score wasn't as engrossing as I would think but the gunfights were pretty good.

Nice little twist at the end though.
