Moneyball. I like this flick.

@HHR what u think of this movie, u a big baseball head.

It's very entertaining, and as an Aaron Sorkin stan, I was always going to like it.

That said, it plays fast and loose with the facts and treats the scouts and Art Howe like shythead morons when that isn't close to the truth. It also seems to go out of it's way to avoid mentioning all of that team's ACTUAL best players like Miguel Tejada, Barry Zito and Tim Hudson. Being such a baseball head, I do have a hard time separating that from the movie itself, despite my belief that even "based on a true story" film don't need to adhere strictly to the truth.

Interesting...how close they get to Beans character and Jonah Hills part?

Moving into Hitchcock's first American films and rewatched Rebecca this afternoon.

I still think it's way too slow in the first act of the film, but I enjoyed the last two acts more than I remember in the past. The backstory of the film and Hitchcock fighting with Selznick is fascinating too.
