French-Canadian movie about a female cyclist who's close to winning her first World Cup. She got there, of course, through doping, and after her doctor's office is raided and he names her as one of his clients, finds herself in the midst of a scandal that tears her professional and personal life apart. The first half is pretty good and there's some chilling scenes about the usage of dope, but in the second half it becomes more and more about her relationship with her coach, who becomes increasingly more invasive and violent and obsessive towards her as she tries to get out, pushing to a point where the movie is painting her completely as a victim of this awful, evil man. Which makes the creative team (two female writers and a female director) start to look kinda funny. The lead performances are really good though and the movie has a nice natural feel to it, even when it gets overly dramatic.
