Watching Kung Fu Hustle after many years and this is still hilarious

I just watches two Netflix originals: Do Revenge and Lou. They were both awful, but somehow Lou was the absolute worst to me. Without spoiling I'll just say that Jurnee Smollet is a good actress to me, but I did not like her acting in this movie. It was  off. The script was off too now that I think about it.

Do Revenge was 🗑 but the absurdity of the plot made it funny to me . I was surprised to find out that one of the protagonists is the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke. Thought that was cool, forgot they had a whole adult daughter.

Never thought I see the day where I’m late 20s and late 50-60 film era movies. The way the shots are made are more artistic than today. They have crept up in my top movie list now. Just saw Psycho and The passion of Joan of Arc very impressive films to me.

Those were some of the most obnoxious characters ever. Then, the only seemingly sensible one decides to grope the girl in her sleep.



Those were some of the first boobs I saw as a kid, but as an adult, I’m happy he got caught by the blob.

And don’t get me started on this dumb bytch cheating on her husband in The Hitchhiker who can’t drive for shyt.

Watched it on Showtime last night. Has a lot of the horror movie decision making, but thought it was shot really well. Especially the kills. Was also funnier than I expected to be in some parts.
