A fukking joke. Tried too hard to be funny but ended up being annoying and almost put me to sleep. Scott Adkins isn't a good narrator. The fights weren't as good as in his other movies. Michael Jai White was great here and was the only one who was actually funny.

This flick though. Bad asses all around.Gritty ass flick that does not come across as Blaxploitation, but more a legit crime thriller with a crazy ending that would make most militant Coli brehs glee

directed by king hu who also did touch of zen and dragon inn. good movie. dont quite like the shift in focus midway through the movie, but the fights are pretty good and there is some genuine emotion with the later plot. this movie established some tropes in later kung fu films, so its importance is pretty high. if you like martial arts flicks, i would say this one is essential viewing.

tarantino was supposed to do a remake of it, but harvey weinstein was the one who came up with the idea of having miramax movies venture into asian stories. seems like that idea is dead.

Aside from the opening this was trash. The brother and sister didn't do jack shyt. The sister didn't even need to be in the movie at all. Would've been better if the boy had been bitten by a random zombie. The movie was too generic. The song that played at the end of the first movie and Kick-Ass was overused. TLOU did this wayyy better.

This little film went under the radar and has to be seen. Set in one night in a busy restaurant in London where high blood rises with the Chef team and plenty of others visiting the establishment. Some great back and fourths dialogue pieces with the talented British actor Stephen Graham.
