Can't cosign anything about this thread. If Josh Smith thinks continuing to shoot mid range jumpers is a viable option for his game, were in for another early round playoff exit. Can't imagine any Hawks fan being comfortable with Smoove jackin up 18 footers on a regular basis.

I assume he means operating more in the mid post and cutting to the goal .. he did say he's cutting out all threes an we saw 2 years ago with benefit that is.

Josh doesn't have a good mid range game. It's barely average. If Josh kept his game within 8-10 feet with the occassional 15 foot jumper, I'd be cool, but he's not a jump shooter. He's more effective for us attacking the basket. I can't cosign anybody giving him a pass to take mid range jumpers
