Not to say the film ain't some bullshyt but she saw an acting gig and took it. You could say it was wrong and she shouldn't have took it, fine. However if we look at it objectively we can't pin the bulk of this on her. Not this time!
I’ll admit I just don’t like Issa, not at all. She irks me for some reason. So any film, show, etc she’s in, I know it’s corny so I’m not watching.
As for Insecure 4, I don’t know anyone that watches that at all, it’s not a good show imo. Who’s watching it besides cacs and “new” blacks?

That's not objective though, the thing is that the show does numbers and that's what matters lol. You're thinking about things personally but HBO is happy cause they are making money off of it and I do know people who watch it but it might be cause I'm younger then you are.With that said, why don't you like Insecure? IMO the soundtrack is good, it has some interesting characters (though Issa's personal character sucks and ain't shyt) and I feel it tells a different kind of black story where it's not based around gangsters or lots of hood shyt. I respect her for at least being out of the box even if I didn't like her comments about Black women getting with Asian men in her book from years ago. She claims it was satire, I feel it was c00n-tire. I also felt Insecure Season 3 started off slow but 1 and 2 were fire.

How old are you? I’m 31. I watched the first episode of insecure and half way through I turned it off. I couldn’t relate to her character at all, I found her unattractive, I didn’t like her voice, her friends were stereotypical(imo) and not attractive to me too. The humor wasn’t there for me. It wasn’t funny. I’m from the suburbs by the way and I’ve been told I’m bougie so it’s not like I like hood shyt. I’m petty asf though, so once I saw her type of humor she was cancelled for me. Tbh I don’t think Tiffany haddish is funny either.
