Ive been following blacksands since he first came on here. Im not even gonna lie, the concept for his epic was something i had in mind myself but i never got around to it, and to be honest hes doing a good ass job of converting african mythology into a decent shonen so im not even mad at it
If these classes teach me how to get my shyt together hes defintiely getting at least a shoutout. I think him, whoever wrote the pack comic, and tomi adeyemi are doing great jobs at expanding the fantasy scene among a afrocentric audience but all these works are different. Goes to show that black fantasy has huge potential to upset the traditional anglo-saxon/norse/celtic world settings
