I see people on this board say Malenasian people aren't black. If they originally came through Africa and a lot of them look like a straight up black man/woman....then? Or is it genetically they are not similar to the majority of people on the motherland?

They are "black," but not related to modern Africans and their descendants. Everyone came from Africa if you go far back enough. These guys are, like whites, middle easterners, East and south Asians, native Australians and native Americans, part of an expansion out of Africa that happened ~70k years ago.
