I'm against impeachment because I just don't believe Democrats can get away with the same things that Republicans can get away with. If they pursue impeachment knowing that he won't be removed in the Senate, I can see moderate voters agreeing with Trump that it's a witch hunt and they're out to get him. They need moderate voters to win 2020. They can't do it just off liberal anger alone. The outcome of Mueller's investigation isn't enough.

I would rather they wait until the end of the summer to see if any of Trump's children, in particular Don Jr or anyone with the Trump Organization get indicted for fraud/money laundering charges since I think that's one of the cases Mueller handed off to SDNY. It would build a stronger case for removal from the Senate.

If they impeach now, then if something serious happens down the line that really needs impeachment & removal, McConnell is just going to say "well they tried once and it didn't work so let's just leave this to the 2020 voters".

It's not a bad idea to wait to see what the other investigations unearth, most Americans even anti Trumpers done know the difference in all the investigations, only common thing is Trump did something bad.
