Good ol RR. And to think he was thought as one of the good guys for a while there.
Sad!
When is this not going to be ok with EVERYBODY?
I know some folks are down on the Dems, but for one, they are playing it straight and procedural right now, they are letting the Repubs embarrass themselves outside of Trump doing it everyday. They are watching career pols bite on the lowest hanging fruit, and whine and cry, and show their constituents that they would rather protect Trump than get to the truth, or do anything meaningful with their votes. I know viscerally it comes off as “who cares, it’s not fair, Repubs just cheat and steal and get away with it”, but with over 57% Dems and left leaning independents in this county as a whole, that could cause some life long pols, that do nothing but “politic” their seats on both sides, those seats will go to progressives or progressive leaning Dems. For two, they are all we have. It’s a fukked up situation, but, as much as we would LOVE to see blood in the streets, it’s just not realistic with so many people in this country sitting on their hands. What Barr did with the report was basically their “nuclear option”, and it was only effective in gaslighting the folks that hate Trump in the short term. It was about 2 weeks of the walking dead, the MSM did their thing to wrap his message in a nice big, colorful bow, and now we are back to being fukking pissed and energized again.
What other choice do we have, honestly? Become apathetic, or keep fighting. I’m starting to unplug more and more, I don’t post in here as much as I did, but not for lack of caring, because my wife and I are trying to spend more time together, talking and enjoying each other’s company. It’s great, we are getting along so well, and laughing, and bonding, but I can’t ever stop fighting , because when I look at her, I realize we were given more time together because of the pre existing conditions rule, and I realize every day that if this fukkface and his administration/party have their way, other people will not be given the same opportunity. People will die, or live a life of servitude because they are millions in debt, and that is no way to live. If he wins in 2020, and his party wins in 2020, they will eventually kill the pre existing condition clause. The cynics in here would just have us all throw in the towel and accept that “lol, you guys are adorable, thinking you can do anything to stop these guys”, they must not have any skin in the game, to just lay down and take the dikk without fighting back, and telling the rest of us to stand down. I’m not gonna accept it, it’s not right, I don’t care if I don’t make a difference, I can’t live with myself knowing that I’m just a coward that refuses to do anything, and I certainly wouldn’t be able to gaslight other people that want to fight and have almost given up hope. Even if you can’t make a difference, personally, you don’t have to be a coward.I certainly hope so. The test now is to see if doing the right thing will prevail against those who lie, cheat, and break laws to get ahead.
This shyt exactly. When posters come in here on some "woe is me, Trumps untouchable " shyt I'm just disgusted. Everyone needs to nut up because this shyts going to get worse before it gets betterEven if you can’t make a difference, personally, you don’t have to be a coward.

I'm not really woe is me but i have accepted that trump is going to get off on everything he did. We need to solve the underlying issues of why he got elected and move on and focus on progressive policies and good progressive candidates & motivating liberals to vote. This shyt exactly. Viewing the system as corrupt that both parties are complicit in is a large reason for voter apathy. It seems you're suggesting the status quoI'm not really woe is me but i have accepted that trump is going to get off on everything he did.
