All seriousness I am trying to temper my expectations this time around

as you should.

although there certainly is some fishiness going on with the release of the findings...the thing that i keep going back to is that if barr's memo really "mischaracterized" what the special counsel's report actually said, i find it hard to believe that mueller would just gonna sit back and say nothing about it. that just makes no sense to me.

should be interesting to see what happens and what comes out though.

Right on time Barr comes out and says we'll get a redacted version of the report.

We're supposed to accept this man's summary as the final word on all this(as so many folks on here did) when he can't even bring himself to release the entire report?

This shyt is not over by a mile. But I'm so disgusted by how easily so many folks rolled over and gave up it's not even funny.

Like, we still haven't seen the full report. Barr's letter says there wasn't collusion although there were many offers(an allusion to the trump tower meeting?) and then clearly saying the report doesn't exonerate the president(a contradiction when you think about it).

The more they try to hide the jucier it is....and lo and behold they're hiding shyt.

Reread Barr's letter folks and then put two and two together with the fact that a redacted report is on the way.

I hope but don’t think anything will come of this on Trump((probably his kids which we already knew) since the investigation ended early because of Barr.


I don’t know the details of Iran Contra but I can tell the main difference that is tripping up Barr is that the guys who went down for it were willing to protective the President and thus end the investigation. Trump and Co. are grifters but they aren’t the type to go down to protect Trump. They’ll lie to save everyone but will fold like Cohen when push comes to shove.

Based on this mentality, why redact anything? This 'he will charge everybody in trump's family' narrative originated here not from mueller's mouth. I never expected that, personally.

We don't know shyt until we get a full report. Redactions = hiding something. I knew a fight would be coming. And trump will once again have more egg on his face. I know I know he won't lose his base(dudes on here loooove giving trump's base lip service). I'm thinking about independents. They'll decide 2020 and the past midterms sweep doesn't bode well for the right(people on here either downplay midterms or forget it happened).

Riddle me this @the cac mamba ..... why are republicans at large still trying to keep the full report from the public? Why did Barr say it doesn't exonerate trump but trump says it does? Everybody is so blinded by bias or fear they won't question what's right in their face.

Barr's scribbles irritated me for about 10 seconds but then i caught myself and quickly realized it don't mean shyt in the grand scheme.

Like I said previously; I'm ready to die on this hill...but I don't expect to.
