Sure. How are any of those people close to to Putin? In reality they were corrupt russians long before him and will be after him. Trump needs to be attacked on business corruption not fantasy.

Russian oligarchs are either voluntarily or involuntarily financially tied to the Russian state. Whether you're 2 or 3 levels from the oval office, you're a part of the administration, same goes for the Kremlin.

No matter how insignificant the title or the personal feeling of the oligarch, multiple - not 1, not 2 - people within the close Trump orbit met or dealt with numerous Kremlin officials or oligarch themselves or backed intermediaries. Not a single one of those administration officials admitted to or had a recollection of those dealings on first question. Admissions didn't happen or memories didn't get refreshed until evidence was placed in front of them.

So your "there were corrupt russians long before..." is irrelevant and holds no real weight.

You can say this for any world leader. What does matter is where the money is, and it's not with Putin. If trump has direct connections, we don't have to play six degrees of seperation to get there. You're waiting for a smoking gun that's never existed. You're better off saying Manafort connected Trump to some power russian money people to finance his business, which is more believable because of the obstruction accusation. That's not election hacking.
