Whole administration is corrupt and incompetent. I was watching Ari Veshi last night on Lawrence and he was talking about how the Trump administration loses all their court cases because of incompetence. Missing info in the filings, not given reasons to justify the cases...all basically something a high schooler would remember to put on the court filing.

There can't possibly be anyone advising them because it has been known for several years now that WhatsApp security is easily compromised through its local storage. So the government issued devices that they are "securely" communicating on can be accessed at anytime physically or remotely without the need for a subpoena, where all of their "secure" communications can be read.
