I believe there are things Manafort knows that nobody outside of Trump, his family, and the Russians know. Mueller needs him to make an open and shut case. I believe he is needed to cut into Trump's cultist base. It's disappointing they haven't been able to break him but not shocking. The man doesn't even want a plea deal of 5 years b/c he might die in that timeframe with his current flabby condition.

Rick Gates cooperation made Manafort's stock drop considerably from a conspiracy standpoint. I believe Mueller has only been interested in Manafort for bringing cases and tying evidence together to go after foreign bad actors.

Manafort's audacity through out this entire thing is why I strongly suspect the judge is going to have no problems throwing the book at him.

Mind you, Trump is almost 73 years old. His team is well over 65 years of age and out of shape. At this point, they gonna do all the fukkery they can before they commit suicide.
