Honestly its still his best option isnt it?
Unless you believe this change man narrative, some sort of backdoor dealing is a much more likely motivator than an expectation that in exchange for bearing his sinful soul the Dems will give him concessions
Even before this release I was concerned that the "bombshells" would be constructed to move things in the wrong direction
