Is it harder to break into the Japanese market than the Mexican one? It seems like the WWE could come through and crush the buildings in Mexico, if they really wanted to.

Not an expert at all on the Mexican market but WWE has had a couple of huge runs over there. They've definitely had a bigger impact there culturally. Now, would that translate to business in 2019 or 2020? I have no clue, my gut says no but that's just my perception from very on the outside.

They'd have conform to their culture though and go against CMLL and AAA. Mexico would be easier than Japan but it won't be easy as UK, where the promotions and wrestlers just laid down for WWE to the point that promotions are dying.
Also if they tried to unmask everyone on day one, the Mexican fans wouldn't stand for it.

Nippon TV has the rights for All Japan's classic footage up to the 2000s and that would be a completely separate negotiation. Hell, if the library is the goal they don't need AJPW
