It's not a big deal at all, but they seem way too focused on the WWE instead of their own brand. The more shots they take at the WWE the more bush league they look.

I've always thought that Cody wasn't a fan of the whole "Dusty's Kid" stuff that they said in NXT.
Also @RammerJammer, I think he either tried to hit before dating Brandi and she turned him down or Brandi got beef with Bayley from the NXT days.

I know it was a light joke but I feel like these AEW guys gotta tread more carefully with how diss the WWE and others cause Wrestling fandom is stupid like that and will hold you to your words when you come out posting obviously moderate numbers at first and deem you a failure which then sort of manifests itself
