But his promos are pretty much the same and he is not the best in the ring, there is so much young talent now that all these vets with 3 or 4 moves are pretty boring to me.

Yep 100%. He honestly already has the foundation down for one as well. He just has to start acting a bit more cocky and full of himself

He does need another long term rival and feud sooner than later. They have not really known what to do with him since winning the title other then the AJ feud and now going back to beefing with the Bloodline.

TSC can't be taken seriously about Cody. 2 years ago at least half the board was saying he was an actual bad or mediocre pro wrestler. Names thrown around as better wrestlers than him: Wardlow, Will Hobbs, both members of Private Party, Alister Black.

There's no reason to even think about him turning heel. Turning everybody every 2-3 yrs is the laziest way to try to make things interesting
