I’m more worried about a Lio Rush who only just started to be used properly and has had to climb uphill battles from day 1 to get ahead. Those are the guys AEW would be keen to sign. Not guys who scream WWE midcard for life

Other than Rusev and Deonna Purrazzo (throw in Angle as a Coach/Producer), he probably has the best chance of signing with AEW.

Think Cody's trying to say he doesn't want to stack the pond with fresh WWE cuts like TNA religiously did; I know the message was muddled because of WWE Stockholm Syndrome Syndicate members jumping on this, but they don't need to sign every single person. Keep in mind they did all these tapings without most of their roster available. Lucha Bros, PAC, Hangman Page, Matt Hardy, Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, Young Bucks, SCU, Santana/Ortiz, MJF, and Private Party weren't part of them, and other than Penelope Ford, Shida, and Britt Baker, I think the rest of the women's division hasn't appeared on any of the tapings as well.
