And during that time
Brandi is coming

Optimally she isn't signed, and just remains a backstage wife/twitter cheerleader, which it looks like will be the case.

Don't fukk up a good thing here, I would at most let her come out first on the entrance to bring Cody out, and AT MOST let her say maybe ONE LINE on the mic.

Well, the guy at the very top of the book TK, either didn't realize it wasn't working, or didn't helm the ship enough to say "Cody this ain't working breh we need to turn you heel"... We don't know who was spear heading that Cena shove for Cody...
I love how everyone just ignores him getting booed out the building everyday in aew and trying to shoehorn brandy into everything.

nikkas hoping against hope Brandi ain't involved.![]()
I don’t see Cody going back to AEW, he played the Bucks and while AEW won’t suffer from losing Cody, the Bucks are hurt, but when you think about it, Cody was eventually gonna dip his toes back into WWE, that’s where he started and his father played a big part into developing the stars that are present in WWE.
Did Cody play em? Yeah. Was Cody being a carny? Yeah. Was Cody wrong for not being upfront about what his plans were? Yeah. That said, the Bucks got their first taste of how things really go in big time wrestling so this should be a learning lesson to them that there’s no friends in the industry and building a “revolution” is a fantasy, this is their wake up call.
Btw, I don’t blame Cody for going back to WWE at all and I think it was great decision on his part, he did a great job promoting and building AEW as well.

How the fukk were Bucks played? That’s the most ridiculous take in this thread.
Cody/Elite (the stable) were never a fit. Cody always felt forced in and the dude has always been an E boy. He was always going back.
I don’t know what all this reaching about being played comes from. Cody had his EVP title taken away and thought he was a bigger star than he is. He went into AEW a big player and went out with peanuts in his hands.![]()
We shall see how Cody does with this new leap, because the wrestlemania high was real with the crowd and MF RHODES.
I see Cody going back to AEW before his current WWE contract is fully completed. I give it 3 years tops.I don’t see Cody going back to AEW, he played the Bucks and while AEW won’t suffer from losing Cody, the Bucks are hurt, but when you think about it, Cody was eventually gonna dip his toes back into WWE, that’s where he started and his father played a big part into developing the stars that are present in WWE.

I never said they never got along with each other. Of course it was all smiles at one point. But these dudes obviously drifted apart. I give him his props for pushing for All In, but AEW doesn’t happen if TK doesn’t put the money in the pot. Cody will always be connected to its Origins, but any real fan knows the fed has the Bucks’ prints on it (at least in appearance). They were fit enough for each other to commit to, and organize All In, and form AEW.... Sure he ain't as geeky and flippy as the other three, but I have no doubt they were all close af at one point. I certainly never expected him to go back within 5 years of AEW forming, that was not apparent before it happened, don't play that
Cody left as the first three time champion in company history, having been a huge part in that company forming, and with respect from everyone in the company even when jumping ship to the rival. Cody essentially gave us a secondary promotion to enjoy, even if he back with the E we aren't gonna appreciate that?
I dont see it either with MJF & dudes are acting like the Punk feud was Austin/Bret stuffThat's the main reason he better stay where he is if he knows what's good for him imo
I'm probably down on him more than most since I'm not impressed by edgy humor and trying to break that wall in every promo. He can get away with it surrounded by the acne riddled mountain dew drinkers in Jacksonville and their black counterparts on TSC
You don't have a big house, no main title runs, no reality show appearances, no Maryse, never danced with stars, and you're like 5'7. Like imagine MJF standing across from Roman trying to break a 5th wall all 5'6 of him trying to joke about his cancernikka you gonna get broke

A Wrestlemania reaction for a returning Rhodes IN TEXAS tells us entirely zero about how he's going to go over on the rest of the tour.
No fed wars, but I honestly think he'll have the same problem in WWE - his idea of a white meat, southern Americana troubadour babyface as top guy in 2022 isn't what most people want to see, especially from Cody.
However much they want to play face and Brandy are natural heels - they need to lean into it eventually. Brandy has no problem doing it on Twitter.
