I've barely seen Cody wrestle and when I've seen him talk he was lispy and annoying but him doing this is the most likeable thing he's done.
between the anger, the hurt and the "he's been trash anyway"... the reaction's been funny as hell.

the guy that was building the buzz as an alternative to WWE and he goes and leaves them for WWE.. its great work.

I do get where OP is coming from though. It makes Cody look like an absolute mercenary with no ability to show loyalty. The only reason why I'm not entirely fazed is because this is almost expected of wrestlers in many ways and the nature of the business. I do think that the reaction from the wrestling community would be a bit more hateful if he were black. I remember the shyt Rock got for merely acting in movies, not even going to another promotion or anything.

Are you sure about this? Cause Cody often got the longest entrances with the longest promo times with the longest matches. People started turning on him because of his early 00s HHH booking. He was dead set on being a face despite the fact that everything he was doing was heel. He thought he was Captain America when he was really Homelander.
