I'm a firm believer that GI:JOE is the most poorly used great IP there is, period. I'd love a new, serious animated series or better movie that is actually GOOD, where Cobra Commander and serpentor basically have a Darth Vader / Darth Sidious relationship. CC is the angry boss everyone fears but he bows down to Serpentor in private, kneeling to him and all.

I don't know how they keep fukking the movies up. It should be a layup. All you have to do is get the costumes right and shoot action sequences in exotic locations. So of course you need battles in the desert, jungle or north pole etc.. It shouldn't be that hard to storyboard that type of shyt, it ain't that deep..

Yes, they'd have to spend good money on the budget but if they actually delivered it'd be a billion dollar franchise

I've been reading current GI JOE comics and honestly they're fukking awesome. I am hopeful. Check em out if you can. Still in single digits of issues.

I'm current on the Larry Hama Real American Hero line, but I gotta see the new ones they've done. I was also reading the IDW series which is crazy different and really good.

The one thing I'll say they got right in that first movie, I ain't into pink toes, but the baroness was sexy as hell in that bytch. I probably wouldn't like that actress in anything else, but that all black with them glasses and that dark hair, she was killing that shyt:whew:

When I was a kid I owned a lot of the Real American Hero line.. I had probably 50+ figures at one point and all types of vehicles including the space shuttle. I never got my dream station though seen below..

They got one of these at this local shop out here, price tag of $3000

I still got my collection from childhood somehow and some newer things I've picked up since. My kids love this shyt

Always hated Serpentor. He was never needed and I thought he was corny back then. All that "THIS I COMMAND" bullshyt and his drip was wack. Cobra Commander was the leader, had more presence, personality, and charisma.
Boy stayed dripped out with new suits and masks to match.

:wow: I used to go around saying 'I onceeeee was a maaaaaaan' on my CC ish. I remember when I was a kid, they played the GI Joe Movie, breaking it down into sections and airing it when the regular GI Joe show came on. Legendary movie, and yes, CC didn't deserve that

shyt so iconic.

I own the actual animation proofs. For the cobra commander transformation.
One of the best scenes.
in anything ever filmed or animated ever.
