That was more about energy than actual lyrics, to me. I've seen that a lot over the years, where the acting mad hype thing is kinda like a distraction from the fact that dudes ain't really saying sh*t. When you have to make actual songs, that's when you can show that you're a lyricist and can get busy.
The focus here seemed to be more on being unnecessarily performative, than having substance. That ain't gonna cut it against real MC's.

I love these guys. I've been aware of them for a while now. The problem is that they are 15 years-20 years too late with this lyricism. There is no room for that shyt today. We are in an era where 21 savage, Lil Baby, Latto, and Ice Spice are seen as top lyricists. These dumb azz kids today won't understand these lyrics or want to hear this.
