And none of that matters if you're a student or a parent paying for your child's education. But that's not exclusive to JSU or any school
What I'm disagreeing you with is this notion that there's some sort of residuals to other schools in HBCU land. What's happening NIL wise at JSU isn't benefitting TX Southern or FAMU. FAMUs apparel deal with Lebron's Nike brand doesn't help Alcorn St or Valley in any way. It will just be a carbon copy of the FBS level. There will be haves and have-nots and the gap will be even wider cause there ain't a Willie Simmons or Vince Dancey segment or documentary on Barstool's network, but there is a Deion one.
Posted links in my first post here about two SWAC deals that came about directly because of the rise of JSU Football. A Pepsi sponsorship for conference football and basketball teams and a broadcasting/streaming agreement with Byron Allen for all SWAC sports.
Also posted a show segment from Roland Martin talking about how school presidents and A.D.s can seize the moment and capitalize on the momentum of top athletes opting to take scholarship offers at HBCUs.
That 5 star hoops recruit choosing Howard started this national attention on HBCU sports. Coach Prime building up JSU has dialed it up to volume 10. The visibility and attention has helped schools in his conference and HBCU sports in general.
