I think you're missing the point. mixed people have been seen as blk people due to the insistance of american white people, why would you want to follow that law when black could easily dictate their own community by stating (like africans) that they are not. because, well, they aren't...they are biracial, a totally different genetic make up of people.

The one drop rule only effected the mixed people that could pass for white. A lot of people try to use it for mixed people in general. when it really was made for mixed that could pass for white.

They want mixed people to be grouped in with them so that they can boost their overall numbers and be able to claim their accomplishments. Africans have had "mixed" ppl in different parts of Africa throughout its history:
The San Bushmen (Basarwa): Kalahari Desert, Namibia and Botswana

These people look like the distant relatives of tiger woods aka the "cablinasian" sensation.

Then we have the og (and modern day) Aethiopians (ethiopian/east african) that look "black", yet not quuuuite as black as the stereotypical "african" that we've been boxed into.. These people also predate most of "modern" humanity

From what I've personally seen, my east african brehs and brehettes could be considered "mixed" too. They dont fall under the overly simplistic idea that black africans look a certain way.

Which brings me to my original thought---
Africans are the original "mixed" people? No i dont mean with euros or neanderthals.
I mean africans have always had varying features and physical attributes.

Now the rest depends on ones beliefs in science, history, religion, and/or other parts of the system.

Some believe there were mutations resulting in "white" features
ie. blonde hair, blue eyes.
Some believe we moved out and mixed with neanderthals.
Some believe adam n eve in the literal sense
etc etc


I believe we gotta stop letting them split us apart. Ignorance and lack of action keeps us all down one way or another. Our obsession with shade and arguing over who is/isnt "black" or "blacker" is something we can revisit once we're in charge of our own countries, resources, education, and belief systems.
But for now, we dont have the luxury of constantly bickering over skin tone and hair types. Most of us around the globe are viewed and treated (consciously, and sub-consciously) as the lowest form of human on the planet. And anybody that looks like (im lookin at you tireco), or has "half" of us in them, will also be considered part of the lowest form of human.

So i'd gladly "accept" somebody whos felt the sting of being called a ******, or made fun of due to their skin tone+hair, or viewed as inherently dumb, or forced to live in a fukked up system, or whos had the males in their family targeted for modern day slavery, or females in their family left alone to do most of the parenting
