It's not that confusing. HBO Now is a standalone streaming platform for all HBO programming. Max is entirely different. It's WarnerMedia/AT&T's streaming service with offerings from their vast library in addition with HBO's. Now is most likely going away after Max launches.
im just like, why you gotta have mad versions of this HBO shyt?
now i gotta what? pay for two more on top of having HBO and HBO GO??

greedy bytches!

Quibi being C is too high. In the comments she reasoned because it's all original shyt that's why it's a C rather than lower based off her grading criteria.

Granted I've only watched a few shows on it but most of the shows don't look all that interesting.

I actually watched the whole thing. Never heard of AcornTV, might have to check that out. I can't be mad at that list based on her criteria. I think we all knew what that S-Tier was gonna be. Amazon Prime Video has the best interface out of all of them. You can literally get cast and song information seamlessly for every scene of every show or movie. It's like watching a blu-ray and having all of the extra content woven into what you're watching:wow:

:what: prime video has the worst UI. I hate it.

I didn't see the Criterion channel on that list either unless I missed it

I don't like Prime's interface but that X-ray feature is something Netflix really need to think about :francis:

I was talking about the X-Ray feature, like @MidniteJay said. It's absolute genius. All the shyt you might pause a show to go google is incorporated into the app. I'd be shocked if Prime doesn't have exclusive rights to it.

They have Criterion in the D Tier, btw

tl;dw version:
ZcBgeaW.jpg

this is dope, we need to do our own one for Coli tho

Thanks.

There needs to be some serious consolidation.

Sling went up to $30. I bushed it.

yes indeed. I had Sling before, its not needed for me. If you have friend or family that has ATT TV or Dish Network you can use their streaming login, especially if they arent using it, which a lot arent and get everything Sling can offer or more depending on the sub package.

PlutoTV is a good free option. I keep that on in the background when I'm working on creative projects. So many free channels.

this is a real sleeper in the game. this shyt straight piff for free. if someone wanted to get Roku and FireTV and not pay for shyt, get PlutoTV, Plex, and Tubi. if you arent snobbish and dont mind commercials you can eat good off those 3.

CBS being A Tier

who fukking watches that :why:

I have it. Its pretty good. Its good enough to be in that tier. Justifying the price is of course personal preference, but they have lots of originals and old shows and you can get the commercial free version. Content is there but as I said, the prices probably wont justify it over other options. What I say about a lot of these is to go in with someone and split the cost on yearly membership. We blow that much money eating out a couple times a week.

Prime X-Ray feature is dope, I was like :gladbron: when I first discovered it. Criterion and Starz is A or B tier at worst. Criterion just has a niche market.

Acorn is dope, I would say better than BritBox, but they are basically the same tier, some may like BritBox better.
