Booker T's reaction to Punk was:mjlol:
(although Im not sure that helps the enviroment there when a vet comes in and does that)

That whole locker room leader shyt is bullshyt

It was bullshyt when Hunter, Undertaker and JBL did it and it was corny when Punk does it

Roman was respected by everyone tho and everyone has always said good things about him :manny:

Poor Punk's whole life is defined by him thinking he was one thing and his self image being completely shattered.

Thought he was the bad ass punk kid (still defines himself this way) but lives in the same building as Oprah and wears $30K suits
Thought he had next and was the top star the industry needed: WWE didn't miss a beat without him and have grown substantially since he left
Thought he was a shooter because he took YMCA BJJ classes on his days off and had a muay thai gimmick in wrestling, got utterly demolished in UFC
Thought he was was the locker room leader, immediately laughed at and disrespected by the real vets and men in the locker room
Thought he could be a movie star like Rock and Batista, no one wants him for anything, intensely jealous of THE MIZ's movie career

You know it's funny now that you mention it. I've heard of many lockeroom leaders in WWF (Taker, the Kliq, Angle, HHH, etc.) but I don't think I've heard of any in WCW. It seems like everyone was a bit more clique-ish (no pun intended) in the mid to late 90s' and most people just hung out with their groups and/or kept to themselves. nWo hung out together. Ric and Arn The cruiserweights were one big group. etc. One of the stranger groups in WCW was Jericho, Raven, Curt Hennig, and Steve McMichael apart of a group called The Four (Drunken)Horseman because they all would go drinking after the show.

West where the Sunsets

The funniest story though was when Kendrick was ordering his sugar filled Bob Evans breakfast and Benoit immediately canceled it.

Benoit: "Steak...white eggs...toast (dry)..."
Jamie Noble: "Same thing. Same thing."
Bob Holly: "Give me twice as many."

GOAT shoot. The Boner death reveal still gets me. :dead:

It's a damn that neither really talk anymore.:to: Also, I forgot to mention the story where Benoit tried to get London laid by a Hooters girls.

Benoit: "OK! IT'S SETTLED! YOU'RE GONNA TAKE HER TO THE HOTEL ROOM TONIGHT AND fukk HER AND JAMIE AND I ARE GOING TO BE IN THE CLOSET WATCHING...."

:whoa: :whoa: :whoa: :whoa:

I'm pretty sure Kevin Nash had major influence on the locker room between 98 and 2000

He's the epitome of what's wrong with MMA fans. A lot of them are dorks who think as long as you just traaaaaaaaain, you can be a bad ass. Doesn't work like that for no talent, physically inferior bums like Punk and most of those nerds. Booker T at whatever age he is can wake outta bed at 2am and mop the floor with Punk on his best day.

Not everyone gets to be tough, no matter how bad they want it.

I mean, props to Punk for not being a coward and continually pushing forward. He's tough the way Mick Foley is tough, but he's not a physical threat, no matter how much he wants to be.
THIS. 10/10
