He ain't lying

A Time Machine would allow him to go back in time, NOT try to be a UFC fighter, simply take time off, enjoy his beautiful young wife, and then come back better than ever

He doesn't even have enough name recognition to get a UFC Announcing gig, instead he doing Indies. :ohhh:

It's on Fight Pass, so I guess his plan is to do well and get moved up to UFC gigs.

It's a better plan than "fight in the UFC even though I didn't start training in BJJ until 2011" and he's been a good announcer everywhere he's gone, so I'm for it.

Pretty sure he's still enjoying his beautiful young wife, breh.

Anyway, I thunk Punk will eventually return but only for a backstage/trainer role. Not in the E but maybe ROH or another decent indie fed.

One thing about wrestling is that you can never say never. The only thing you can say for sure about the business is that nothing's for sure.

I didn't think Shawn Michaels would ever wrestle again. He just came back after eight years to compete. I always thought Daniel Bryan was done for good and getting back into the ring would lead to serious health problems. Now he's the WWE Champion. Paul Heyman had no interest in coming back to the WWE after the way things went down in 2006. Now, he's one of the most important parts of Brock Lesnar's act.

I'm not going to say that this means Punk will definitely come back one day, but a lot of strange things have happened in this business. If he really wants to and he gets the itch to do it again, and egos are put aside, he can always get back into ring shape and work less than he did before. In 2018, he has no interest in wrestling again. In 2023? Who knows?

But he would still get fired on his wedding day for not coming back when the company demanded it :manny:

People tend to forget that it was a two way street. :hubie:

Sure - he might come back one day. Stranger things have happened. But Punk threw his biological family in the bushes too. Dude might be the GOAT grudge holder.

I wish people would leave this man alone. He doesn't want to wrestle anymore. Move on; Punk has.
