That promo was fire. I'll always remember what Triple H said about getting over with the fans. When you do, you won't have to call 7-Eleven and tell them you want to be on the cup. 7-Eleven will call WWE and demand that you're on it.

I think a lot of us were so happy to see Punk get to the top and think he was going to usher in a new era that it flew over our heads that soul burn slow that Triple H was giving him on occasion on the mic

Getting more attention, which lead to your Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Shinsuke Nakamura, Black and Gold NXT, 205 live (I know I didn't list them in order)

Which ultimately for better or worse(again I lean worse) made these ham and egger jobbers feel like Superstars without being a "household name"

Sure, they were local/regional names, may have went viral but Mr McMahon doesn't care about that, Cody is the very very rare exception of bringing a guy in from who he was(basically not a creation of Vince) and being "over" and a "draw" with the WWE Universe in recent memory


Also, Punk more or less dissed Heyman in a way when he said he retired from professional Wrestling (can't remember the date he said ) seeing as how Heyman went to back for him when others felt like getting rid of him(Ovw) nevermind him saying f TNA I guess cause he wasn't the man there

Long as you can drop a "pipe omb" (which when it comes to shoot promos isn't top five in my book but that's me), and "go in the ring" (wow he's being serious and or doing a chain of Wrestling moves) you too can be the next wrestler....to become a cult of All Elite
