Let's be real. Punk did overstep by lashing out. The majority of blame falls on him.
Truthfully though, nothing will come of this. WWE already placed blame on security, and the fan will probably get a nice lil comp off of the incident. Probably free tickets to the next show, autograph, etc.
No blood was drawn, no bruises, no broken bones, no problem.
I doubt they're taking the title off of Punk or even suspending. Slap on the wrist in the form of a fine or tongue lashing. No more, no less.
