And was the third wheel to the Cena/Nexus feud. He main evented two PPV's when he held onto the strap, and was having matches with Sheamus in the middle of the card for the WWE title. Quit acting like Punk is the first midcard champion when it's an outright lie. If top guys like Hogan or Cena aren't involved in the title picture, then card placement for guys like Savage, Punk etc will suffer because of it.
