all im takin from all these comments is that that punk/rock feud is definitely coming and theyve done a better job of setting it up than rock/cena cuz its gonna feel more authentic when it goes down
Nah I haven't.
It will be different because Punk is a Heel and Cena was not, but not better, Punk is nowhere near the star Cena is. It's like not even close. There is no big match feel out if it. Punk hasn't main-evented a PPV in a year lol.

Not the point. What else does Rock have to prove? If he'd stayed on Punk would be complaining about guys not letting go of their spot. Rock left, made movies and opened a main event spot. If the guys mentioned stayed Punk might not have even seen a dark match.
And Shawn was in and out after his injury and for the beginning of his comeback.
Point is, dude wants to take up a cause and be a rebel? He should be consistent in his argument. Rock is a movie star first and a wrestler second i dont really see why thats a big deal. Its not like he NEEDS to steal a WM payday he makes plenty of money on his own. Punk's argument is invalid, work or not. And i actually like Punk.

It's actually Punk's schtick, he's been bytching about this before Cener co-opted it for his Rock feud. And unlike Cena, Punk won't be smirking at the camera or cutting goofy rap a cappellas. He's a better actor, he's more convincing, and he's already fooled more than a few wide-eyed little marks into buying it before the program has even started
