Though Punk's pocket book definitely took an L regardless, sometimes the principle of shyt is worth the hit. We all knew this was the WWE behind the lawsuit and for Punk to go over on Vince in a court of law has to be feel pretty good. I imagine some kind of closure.

Now if anyone ever grows a pair and takes them to court for the whole "independent contractor" BS...

I'm pretty sure in a civil case if the party suing loses the case, they have to pay the fees for the defense too. But I'm not that familiar with the US legal system so...
