DETROIT (Do Every Thing Right Or It's Trouble)
Detroit nikkas always been on this wave just over a little faster beats

NY is a bit late; Detroit/Chicago, Baltimore/DC, Philly/New Jersey been on this wave. DC had Go-go, Detroit still jit (Jitterbugging) Chicago still Juking and Philly was Wu-Tangin years and some were decades before social media.

Why this Detroit nikka always hating on NY? Same dude that was saying Lola Brooke sound like Glorilla when Lola Brooke been rapping before Glorilla. Wtf?

U realize Newark is 10 miles from NYC ppl here been fukking with the club sound and over a decade ago nikkas used to hit lite feet to club versions of songs. Why you think Choppa and 2Rare made a “NYC edition” of that record.

Not only that it’s irrelevant because this thread is about the merging of rapping and hip hop particularly drill merged with club and the cross city collaboration between new school acts from NYC, Philly, Jersey.

Bro talking about juking and Wu-Tanging :what: shyt is old history nikkas never talk about new shyt here and perpetually years behind this is about the Bronx drill rapper Sha EK and Newark rapper Bandmanrill bringing forth a new sound and club becoming more prevalent

bandmanrill from newark was the first to do it and it just spawned from there :wow: 2rare took it and ran with it and went mainstream, cash cobain and chow lee made a helluva project with that sound, sugarhill keem and sha ek were the first bx/harlem drill rappers I heard to infuse the jersey club with the drill sound

glad this is whats overtaking the sound so them bum ass UK nikkas can stop acting like nikkas was ever bumping their shyt:mjpls:

uk/ny drill and b more/nj club have the same musical origins so its no surprise that they would eventually merge

I don’t like it but it seems like something that could inject fun into this genre again. Let’s hope these kids can get back to having fun again.
