Kanye is a good spitter but I prefer him writing bars for songs with a subject of matter.
He pulls down his stock by spitting random shyt, someone like Jay or Big Sean are just as good at spitting random shyt as spitting shyt with a subject of matter. Big Sean is probably even better at spitting random shyt than "socially or self consciously motivated topics".

Looking at his discography it's always a hit cause he puts a lot of power into the subject of matter, when it comes to random bars it's a hit or a miss. Might be classic like NIP or Gotta have it or mediocre like the Khaled song or Theraflu.

:laff: @ that sample. "but .. but .. but you haven't heard one note" The fact that he's put out a dozen songs as weak as this in a row was a good indicator about how this sounds. And the next one too.

Dude has had coproducers on the majority of his shyt since late registration. Why would he buck this trend suddenly in 2012???

:stopitslime: The co-producers thing didn't get out of hand until MBDTF. He made a lot of beats by himself up until then.

He hasn't even produced since Watch The Throne, he's just had creative input and directing the production to how he wanna make it sound. He did like 2 or 3 fukking beats on WTT, and hasn't made one since. That's what I mean when I say he needs to produce more.

Hit boy definitely has talent behind the boards. Download HITstory if you don't believe me.

The two songs he dropped before weren't produced by him, not sure about the rest of the album but I think it's safe to say he didn't produce much (haven't heard it and don't know if there's a tracklist with producer credits so I could be way wrong).

The last song he put out was New God Flow, before that Mercy.
Both very well received:wtf:

Features and shyt is not his songs.

You continue to say Jay and Ye fell off and that you don't like Sean. Why are you even checking for snippets of these nikka's songs? :leostare:

I thought it might be good :yeshrug: the only reason I'm replying in here is because people were arguing that the fact that anyone can predict the nature of this song. Turns out like Ysej said it's a watered down NIP with a wack kanye verse. So much for the non predictability
