Why can't people just not like the song without being "Stuck in the 90's". I liked New God Flow and Mercy but this shyt here is cheeks aside from the Jay-Z verse.

I'm not saying that. I initially said that the subject matter in any song should be irrelevant as long as it's a good song. The rest of the shyt I was saying was different, but that's cool if you don't like, I'm not saying you have to, but some of the criticism is just stupid imo. :yeshrug:

I don't know you. I'm referring to the same names I always see. The type of cats that hype up everything and say "this is hip hop" when it's really something we've all heard before. Basically, it comes down to this.

People have different opinions, but people here in the Booth predominantly like one type of sound...it's why they can say Nas is spitting like he's still 19 on Life is Good when he is nowhere near that and didn't say anything lyrically remarkable on that album...he just basically talked about where he is at in life...if you're a Nas stan/fan you'll appreciate it but it wasn't groundbreaking....yet on here, if you speak out against that...its sacrilege. I understand that, but then why would those same people find the need to enter EVERY thread to give opinions on shyt they're incapable of being objective about? Why feel the need to throw shade on everything?

It's just sad, why copy and paste the same opinion over and over? It's like they take this rap shyt too seriously. It's all entertainment to me.

Anyone get that feeling jay don't really like that Nas is buzzing again ? :deadrose:
Ruthless.

:what:

Can we PLEASE get over this.. Them dudes was JUST taking pictures and choping it up less than a month ago when Nas dropped the album. Just because they've BOTH pretty much admitted that they enjoy competing with one another doesn't mean that one has to "dislike" the other's buzz...

The song itself was dope, I don't understand why people aren't really feeling this, all three came dope. I mean the song is called "Clique" amd features two of the MOST braggadocious rappers of all time and a young cocky rapper from Detroit, what more did you expect?:manny: I'm actually starting to get a little more excited for the album after I was initially dissapointed in the tracklisting

I didn't even say this shyt was crack. Did you miss that? I was referring to the same lame ass people saying the same lame ass thing.

BTW, Jay was obviously the highlight of the song. Sean was all right, haven't even gotten through Ye's verse. He's just annoying as fukk these days.
