he had to grind for every carry and topped 1200 multiple times, if anything hes an anti-system player there. they never had a good line for him and often times no passing game

28 TD's in one year in college, i didnt like him picking on Willis until he almost transferred, but he was unreal his junior year. most teams wanted him @ corner, Butchie knew what it was

I'd say Denver had an easier time replacing Clinton Portis than Washington did replacing Champ Bailey :manny:
Naw. Smoot, Sean Springs, D.Hall, Carlos Rogers All borderline Pro-Bowl Corners.

Not to mention :ahh:Sean Taylor:ahh: and :scusthov:Laron Landry :scusthov:The defense as a whole hasn't been incredible but the biggest names have always been the d-backs. Champ Bailey wasn't gonna change that much...

he could have had a better career had he stayed in denver. man joe gibbs ran him into the ground those first couple seasons in washington with all them carries.

Redskins defenses actually improved after Champ left (not saying Champ was the problem, not even close)

:yeshrug: droughns, mike anderson, tatum bell, selvin young, peyton hillis, knowson moreno

and they still looking for a CP replacement
